SCOTTISH FOOTBALL LEAGUE CLAIM NO REQUEST RECEIVED

Challenge Cup Final Broodwood - 2002

As the mad scramble for Cup Final tickets begins there is incredible news that the Scottish Football League have NOT received any request from Queens for a change of venue for the Challenge Cup Final. If this is true then the Queens management is obviously happy that Broadwood is big enough and there will be ample room for all Queens fans who wish to attend the match. They are also obviously happy with Broodwood as an ideal place to stage a final knowing its isolation and lack of pubs and food outlets. Even although the SFL were not willing to budge on the issue it would have been nice if our club would have backed their fans and requested a change of venue !!!!
