According to audited accounts just published by Queens the club have made an operating loss of over £88,000 for the financial year ending 31st May 2002. This added to last years deficit of £23,000 and nearly £250,000 still owed to NG Blount and K Houliston puts Queens in a rather unhealthy financial situation. Mr Bradford did warn the shareholders last October that there would be substancial losses but due to the good collateral of the club we could sustain this. Whilst the fans will be concerned about the current financial state of the club they will be delighted at the progress made and the winning of two trophies in the past 6 months. A shareholders meeting is scheduled on the 13th November at the Nith Hotel when Mr and Mrs Bradford will be up for re-election.
