Queens have massive injury problems as they head to Paisley to face St Mirren in a vital league clash. There are conflicting reports as to who exactly is available but it seems Allen,Atkinson and Paton are doubtul with O'Neill giving cause for concern. Compound that with long term crocks Thomson,O'Connor and Donald,Queens are in a right pickle and will have to introduce one or more of the under 18's at some stage. It is quite incredible that Thomson and Donald have not kicked a ball this season. As Queens head to play Saints at Paisley really nothing has changed since our last meeting in that dramatic cup semi-final which we won in spectacular fashion. We are still the underdogs and St Mirren under a caretaker manager must really fancy their chances. We are looking for another massive performance and our magnificent away support can play their part. It's a great pity that the wonderful support enjoyed on away days by the team is not available at Palmy. JC must bring the experienced Crawford into the centreal defence and I expect Neilson to return. Henderson in my opinion is a liability and should be dropped. We have big problems in mid-field if O'Neill doesn't make it and we are in danger of being overrun in this area. Lyle apparantly was employed as a midfield player with Partick and this may be worth a try with Weatherson and Shields having a go up front. A lot will depend on the formation that JC chooses but I think Queens will be really up against it and a draw is the best we can hope for.
