After a successful appearance for Annan Athletic on Saturday, popular striker Sean O'Connor may be making a comeback. Rumours abound at the moment that he has actually signed again for Queens but there is no confirmation of this.
Sean had a successful operation on his dodgy knee at the end of last year and sources inform me that he has never felt better in five years and is often seen at the Gym in DG1 in Dumfries.
It is early days but Sean's return to fitness will strike terror into most of the defences in the 1st Division and may add extra firepower to the Queens as they look for a top four place in Division 1 with an invitation to the SPL as a possible reward.
Sean who is married to the daughter of the late Keith Houliston was a popular player with Queens and scored many memorable goals including that cracker against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup Semi-Final at Hampden.
Queens MAD wish Sean the best of luck and hope he can come back and do a job for either Annan Athletic or Queens.
