BOWSER DOUBT FOR CLASH WITH ST JOHNSTONE
Last updated : 31 October 2003 By Duke Of Galloway
After the high drama of Easter Road Queens get back to league business tomorrow with a crucial clash against promotion favourites St. Johnstone. Another bumper crowd is expected but Queens have worries about skipper Steve Bowey who took a knock on the ankle against Hibs on Tuesday evening. Queens really need the wee man who has been an inspirational figure for Queens so far this season. JC has however a strong bench and no doubt will come up with a suitable formation. Thomson and Reid will have to be on their toes to subdue the eager St Jonstone attack and any repeat of recent defensive lapses will be hard to accept. I think Queens will be hard pushed to force a draw taking into account the number of games they have had to play away from home recently. One thing is for certain the magnificent Palmy support will be right behind them from kick-off.
