Queen of the South secured their first victory since the opening day of the season with a win away at Morton.
After three games without a goal, Queen of the South finally found the back of the net when Iain Russell headed home for the visitors just before half-time.
Former Morton striker Derek Lyle then doubled Queen of the South's lead in the 58th minute with a neat right-footed finish.
Russell nearly turned villain after he conceded a penalty for handball on the hour-mark but, fortunately for Morton, Reece Hands failed to reduce the deficit as he blasted over from the spot.
An emphatic win for Queens which gives us confidence in our League campaign. We put away our chances for a change and we can fear nothing at Tynecastle on Wednesday.
Queens move above Morton, who are now winless in their last five.
