Queen of the South moved to within two points of third-place Rangers and four clear of Falkirk with a comfortable Championship win over Cowdenbeath.
Iain Russell headed home Mark Millar's deep cross to give Queens the lead and Michael Paton swept in their second.
Sean Higgins slotted past Zander Clark to reduce Cowden's deficit only for Mark Durnan to strike Queens' third.
And Derek Lyle rounded off the win by rifling into the net in the penultimate minute of regulation time.
