Dundee's resurgence under new manager Jocky Scott continued with a deserved win over Queen of the South.
Queens spurned some early chances and were punished when old Palmy favourite Eric Paton curled in an 18-yard free-kick over the wall after 64 minutes.
And it was game over after 79 minutes when Mickael Antoine-Curier's cutback was netted by Bryan Deasley.
Queens could have narrowed the gap, but Steve Tosh and Sean O'Connor both missed obvious chances.
This was a much improved performance by Queens compared with previous weeks but alas missed chances were to prove their downfall again.
Travel Club Queens Man of the Match - Andy Aitken - He celebrated his return to the side with a fine performance.
