Queens lost goalkeeper Zander Clark to injury before Derek Lyle's strike put the hosts ahead again.
Reilly blew a great chance before Iain Russell made sure of the points from close in as Queens ran the Livi defence ragid in the closing stages.
Queens eventually overcame a stuffy Livi side in the second half with a fine display with Carmichael,Lyle,Russell and Reilly pushing up.
