Doonhamers run riot in second half
Queen of the South staged a storming second-half comeback to record a 5-1 win over Arbroath despite having a man sent off.
The Doonhamers fell behind to Steven Doris' 18th-minute strike from the edge of the box and had Mark Durnan dismissed for violent conduct two minutes later.
But the resilient hosts hit five second-half goals to claim the points.
They levelled things up in the 54th minute when Derek Lyle tapped in from close range and added a quick-fire second when Nicholas Clark's 20-yard strike flew past Darren Hill.
Midfielder Daniel Carmichael then made it 3-1 in the 65th minute when he found the bottom corner from the edge of the area.
Stephen McKenna put things beyond doubt in the 80th minute when he made it 4-1 from 10 yards out, before Clark found the bottom corner to make it 5-1.
