Lewis Kidd's second-half free-kick was enough to give Queen of the South a victory away to Livingston.
Myles Hippolyte missed an early opportunity for the hosts, firing over the bar before Derek Lyle's shot was saved well by Livi's Darren Jamieson.
Jamieson also denied Ryan Conroy before being beaten by Kidd's deflected shot from the edge of the box.
Craig Sives nearly headed the equaliser, but Robbie Thomson made a terrific save with 10 minutes left.
