QOS BAR AT PALMERSTON RE-OPENS AFTER REFURBISHMENT

The former QUEEN OF THE SOUTH LOUNGE BAR at Palmerston has recently been fully refurbished and is now open and known as the QUEEN OF THE SOUTH BAR. I took the opportunity to pop in this week to meet the new tenant Craig Watson and see how things were progressing. The Bar has undergone a complete transformation with increased standing area,new air-conditioning,extra TV monitors and a general freshness about the place. There are some interesting football memorabilia on the walls with more planned. Craig along with Joan Thomson who will run the bars hope their new venture will be a success hope that Queens fans will use the facilities outside match days. The Corporate Lounge up the stair has also had a lick of paint and is fully booked for the Dons Cup Tie. We wish Craig and Joan every success in the future.
