The latest news from Palmy is that Queens have signed useful right-sided mid-fielder Eric Paton on a one year contract and it is understood that no fee was involved. Paton was joint leading scorer with Clydebank last season and he has had previous spells with Hibs and Partick Thistle. Paton will be an obvious replacement for Connell who unfortunately left the club during the close season.
