Queens boss John Connolly has injury problems as he gathers his bruised and battered troops after Tuesday's "Batttle of Palmy" with Morton. Having already lost O'Connor,Atkinson is looking doubtful. Having lost O'Connor, a lot of responcibility rests on Peter Weatherson to produce the goods. Derek Lyle must also start to find the net regularly or Queens will struggle. Difficult to predict the outcome of this one with Queens having difficulty finding the net despite some good approach play against Morton. I wont be surprised if this ends up a draw but with a large vociferous Palmy crowd anything can happen. I will expect Paton and McLaughlan to be on from the start and perhaps Gray returning to his normal position at right back. Meanwhile the war of words on the Morton/
Queens websites has cooled off with the odd olive branch being offered here and there. I trust Mr.Rae the Morton chairman will take the appropriate action and severly punish the offending culprits. No news on big Sean's injury but it looks like severe ligament damage which could take months to heal. JC has stated that a striker will be signed shortly as O'Connor's replacement.
