There had been concerns over pitch conditions and surrounding areas - with clubs being told to make early decisions on whether their scheduled games would go ahead.
However, it seems the winter chill has won again.
In Division One Stirling v Morton, Ross County v Cowdenbeath and Queen of South's home clash with Dundee have been postponed.
The Peterhead v Stenhousemuir, Dumbarton v Forfar, Airdrie Utd v East Fife and Brechin v Ayr games have all been called off.
Meanwhile Annan v Berwick and Elgin v Clyde will not go ahead.
