As you will have noticed there is a brand new Official Queen of the South website. It has been launched a little bit earlier than we would have liked due to hardware failures at the previous design/hosting company so isn`t the finished article. However we have included as many of the essential features as possible for this launch. Keep your eyes on the top menu bar as we add sections and features over the next few weeks and months.
The site is the product of many months of hard work primarily by Queens fan Andy Cowan and takes us a step forward in web technology and automation.
The most important aspect of the new site is that it is brought to you by fellow fans and is dedicated to providing the content that we all want to see.
All of the established contributors remain with Bill Goldie providing the pre-match, post-match, and breaking news, Ewan Lithgow with the away match reports, Sandra Brown with the pre-match and post-match podcasts, Bruce McKenzie with the home match reports, Ian Black with the club history Q&A, Kirk McLean with the Legends section, Fraser Johnstone and Sandy Robertson with matchday photo`s, Mark McMinn with his commercial activities and Eric Moffat with official club announcements. Add onto that the technical expertise of Andy Cowan and we now have a top class starting eleven for the OS. Things have certainly come a long way since the original website was launched 12 years ago!
