Queens Have Adams And O'Connor Back In The Fold

Sensational news from the OS

Queens today signed former Palmerston favourite Jamie Adams on loan to the end of the season. Jamie is no stranger as he has already had three spells down here and only lately was playing for Kilmarnock and Partick Thistle. Said Gordon Chisholm, "We all know what Jamie's capable of and we're glad to have him back".

Another well-known face to join in the training at Glasgow Green this morning was none other than Sean O'Connor. The 'big man' actually hung up his boots at the end of last season but came out of retirement a month ago and has turned out twice on loan at Annan Athletic.

Added 'Chis', "Sean's been training with us for the past month and we all know what an asset he can be. He'll be in the squad for Saturday as a Trialist but we'll be taking it one match at a time. The Chairman realised that we needed more players as we've still 12 games to go and suspensions and injuries were hitting us hard".

Ayr United sent out a warning to all other First Division clubs as they battled out a 1-1 draw with 'top dogs' Dundee at Somerset Park last night and Gordon Chisholm admits, "They did every club in the chasing pack a big favour as it keeps the Dens Parkers within catching distance. That's six games Ayr have gone unbeaten so we'll really have to be well up for it when we meet on Saturday. I was at that match myself last night and Ayr thoroughly deserved a share of the points.

"Both Bobby Harris and Stephen McKenna are suspended for Saturday while Jordan McMillan is out injured. David Lilley's groin injury is still bothering him and I'm reluctant to risk him. But we'll just wait and see".
