QUEEN'S BOSS KENNY BRANNIGAN NOT HAPPY WITH FOOTBALL TRAINING FACILITIES IN DUMFRIES AND GALLOWAY
He blasted authorities for not providing decent training facilities in Dumfries and Galloway.
He told a packed Queens AGM at Glencaple on Monday evening that there are 42 grade A astro turf pitches in Glasgow but none in Dumfries and Galloway. Mr Brannigan whose future at Queens is uncertain also said that this was a stumbling block to the Doonhamers training in their home town of Dumfries.
Queens train at superb facilities on Glasgow Green and if anyone would like to view the facility Mr Brannigan is more than willing to show them around.
Mr Brannigan although hampered by personnell constraints due to cost cutting measures at Palmerston has managed to keep Queens competitive in a tight Division and steered them to the Alba Challenge Cup Final.
Mr Brannigan's future will be decided by the Palmerston Board after the Alba Cup Final.
