SCOTTISH clubs have been asked to be patient as league chiefs battle to deal with the fixtures backlog reports The Daily Record.
SFL chief executive David Longmuir is trying to rearrange 85 postponed matches plus the Alba Cup Final but insists it will take time to get it right.
He said: "There's been a clamour for us to produce a revised fixture list and it's being worked on but people have to be more patient.
"We have to take our time and do it properly. Individual clubs only look at things from their own point of view but we have to take all the members' interests into account."
It looks likely that the Alba Cup Final between Queen of the South and Ross County will be in April.
