NEIL SCALLY has denied reports that there is any unrest at Queen of the South after a forgettable afternoon at Firhill.
The Doonhamers midfielder deputised for boss Kenny Brannigan and said: "The gaffer isn't happy about some of the quotes attributed to him in the papers. I'm here to tell you that there's no disharmony at the club.
"As for the game, it wasn't a great one by any means but at least we've now kept two clean sheets in the build up to the Challenge Cup final against Ross County."
Queen of the South appeared to be more focussed in the early exchanges but there was only one thing on their fans' minds.
"Sack the Board", they chanted in response to the way the Palmerston chiefs have apparently been dragging their heels over contract renewals of first-team stars.
When the Dumfries dissidents weren't lambasting the directors they chanted, "Kenny Brannigan", in praise of the boss who has publicly criticised the way things are being handled.
Meanwhile the Dumfries and Galloway Standard are less than happy on comments coming from Palmerston.
Unlike other local newspapers, the Standard has proven, over the last couple of months in its extensive support for the Save Our South campaign, numerous positive front page articles and funding and distribution of Save Our South collecting tins to local newsagents, that were are 100 per cent supportive of the club
