Queens must be red hot favourites as they go into Saturday's Bells Challenge Cup-tie against Third Division Albion Rovers at Palmerston. Albion of course created a bit of a shock last August when they dumped Queens out of the CIS cup but I will very surprised if this is repeated tomorrow on current form. Albion were walloped recently 3-0 at Cliftonhill by Airdrie United and have struggled to put a squad together for the new season. Queens on the other hand have a settled squad and have turned in some impressive performances pre-season, no more so than the 4-0 win against Premier side Motherwell. Reports from Palmy indicate no injury worries with the side which faced Motherwell very much on the cards with surprisingly Thomson and Paton perhaps on the bench. The Palmy faithful will demand nothing short of a resounding win for Queens with McNiven and O'Neill amongst the goals.
MAKE NO MISTAKE THIS TIME QUEENS
