With Paton receiving a serious ham string injury during Queen's exit to Livingston on Saturday in the Challenge Cup the injury list grows at Palmerston with six first team players on the treatment table.
Queen's manager Jim McIntyre speaking on the OS gave the following sitrep on the injury list:-
Kerr - hamstring problems - out for three weeks
McKenna - no injury details but out for three months
Burns - knee problems - receiving injections - out for three weeks
Mitchell - disc problems in his back and may need operation - may be out for three months
Baird - thigh strain but not serious - may be back soon
This is a real setback for Queens so early in the season and McIntyre will have to dig deep into his pool of players and perhaps add to it.
