GUS LEFT FRUSTRATED
Manager Gus McPherson was again left frustrated by losing yet another late goal at Ayr on Saturday.
Speaking on Queen's Official Site Gus says ...
"Every one concerned with the club -- myself, the players and no doubt our fans ourselves will feel the same.
"Against Ayr on Saturday, I felt we played poorly and made bad decisions at crucial times.
"I thought we were going to get a `clean sheet`, but once again we were denied with that late strike.
"But we must learn from our mistakes!
"There`s not much between top and bottom in this division, and I feel it`s going to be like that for most of the season.
"Our performances against Hamilton and Morton were `top drawer stuff`, but we must be more consistent."
On Saturday it`s Dundee at Palmerston and Gus claims "Their achievement last season was nothing short of amazing!
"To finish nearly top with such a handicap was remarkable.
"They`re a big strong team with top quality players, so we know we will have a hard battle on our hands.
"However, our home form has been good with only one defeat in five outings and it will be nice to get baof to Palmerston again."
"Kevin Smith is still suspended, and will miss the Dundee game.
"Both Craig Reid and Scott McLaughlin are nursing injuries, but we`ll see how they feel come Saturday.
"Mark McCusker is coming closer to the required fitness, and we`ll be giving him a `run out` shortly in one of the reserve games."
Saturday's clash with the Dees is shaping up nicely and hopefully Palmy will hold it's biggest gate of the season as the visitors are expected to bring a big support with them.
