Queen of the South will be hosting their first FOOTBALL FORUM in the Palmerston Social Club Lounge Bar on Thursday 24th February, 2011.
The event, which will commence at 7.30pm, will be hosted by West Sound Radio`s Bruce McKenzie, and will afford fans` the opportunity to meet and hear the views of manager Kenny Brannigan, club captain David Lilley, long-serving defender Bob Harris and recent recruit Colin McMenamin as they discuss all-things football.
The evening will be "a game of two halves", the first 45 minutes of which shall see highlights of Queens season so far as provided by the club cameraman Malcolm Johnson, with the panel giving their views on the action throughout.
After the half-time break, the FOOTBALL FORUM will begin in earnest, with questions from the floor on all things football being up for debate by our guest panel.
A fun quiz shall be intersperced into the evening to keep the fans entertained, as the players and manager test the supporters knowledge on them.
It is hoped that this shall be the first of regular FOOTBALL FORUMS, allowing players and fans access to each other to discuss the hot football-related topics of the day.
Tickets are now available at a cost of £3, with numbers limited to 60 persons, so contact Mark McMinn, Commercial Manager on 01387 251666 or 07590 848 792 to secure your place.
