Dumbarton have secured a tie-up with the locally-based world famous five-star Cameron House Hotel to help them with their loan signing Aaron Barry.
The 21-year-old Sheffield United defender makes his way north every Thursday to join up with Ian Murray’s squad for training and stays until Saturday’s game before heading back down the road and beginning the week with the Blades.
Cameron House are now putting Barry up as part of a sponsorship agreement with the Sons and chief executive Gilbert Lawrie said: "We are grateful to the team at Cameron House who are helping us with accommodation for Aaron. He makes the trip up before each game and Cameron House are helping to ensure he gets fully rested before matches.”
This is an innovative way sponsorship by local businesses and supporters groups can help financially their local club.
Recently Queens Supporters clubs helped the club out with a cash donation and also helped with paying a Queen's players salary.
