ABERDEEN may have been knocked out of the Europa League by Maribor but they will get another Thursday night game at Pittodrie.
That's because the Dons' Betfred Cup quarter-final with St Johnstone will take place under the lights on Thursday, September 22, live on BT Sport, with a kick-off of 7.45pm.
As part of their deal for the revamped League Cup, the broadcasters get three games in this upcoming round and they've chosen to show Aberdeen, Celtic and Rangers' home ties.
Celtic will host League One opposition in the form of Alloa Athletic, who defeated Inverness CT 1-0 last night, on Wednesday, September 21 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
Their trio of live fixtures will begin with Queen of the South's trip to Ibrox as they face familiar foes from recent years Rangers on Tuesday, September 20, that too kicking off at 7.45pm.
BT have chosen to snub Greenock Morton's hosting of fellow Championship side Dundee United, whick will take place at the same time as Mark Warburton's men face Hibs' conquerors Queens.
