Airdrie's New Five A Side Complex

Visitors to the Airdrie v Queens game last night at the Excelsior Stadium must have been impressed by the superb new five a side complex which has just been completed adjacent to the ground.
All 9 pitches are laid using the latest 3G artificial grass and come complete with modern changing rooms and a public bar along with flat TV screens showing Sky events. Membership schemes are available and it will prove a good income stream although we understand that Airdrie Football Club don't own the complex and neither do they own the stadium.
The Lanerkshire club may be at the bottom of SFL1 but they have a top football facility serving the community and it would be wonderful to have something similar at Palmerston.
